What You Get From an Aluminum Window
An aluminum window starts with an extruded frame. The profile holds its shape, resists corrosion, and lets you run a narrower sightline than wood or vinyl, so more of the wall becomes glass. For a coastal house or a high-rise, that matters more than the frame color. WANJIA Hiseng builds these units to order in Foshan and ships them to North American builders, dealers and architects.
Heat is the catch. Aluminum conducts it, so a plain frame gets cold in a Minnesota January and hot in a Phoenix attic. A polyamide strip, called a thermal break, separates the inside and outside faces of the profile. Every aluminum window we make uses that construction. The glass package does the rest of the work. Double or triple Low-E insulating glass, argon fill if you want it, and a warm-edge spacer all sit in the same frame.
If you're specifying, the NFRC label is where you compare units. It lists U-Factor, Solar Heat Gain Coefficient, Visible Transmittance and Air Leakage on the same scale across brands, which is the only fair way to shop. Ask any supplier for the label before you sign.
Frame, Glass, Hardware and Finish
Performance and lifespan come down to four choices.
6063-T5 Profile
The frame is 6063-T5 aluminum with a thermal break. Casement profiles run about 2.0 mm wall thickness. Sliding come in at about 1.5 mm. That number comes off the extrusion spec, not from a marketing sheet, and it is the one we quote from when a buyer asks what the profile actually is.
Glass Up to Triple
Double or triple Low-E insulating glass, with a 33 mm glazing notch. If the elevation calls for divided lites, built-in grille or lattice patterns are available. On the sheet, glass choice moves Uw and Rw more than anything else does.
German and Chinese Hardware
Casement units use ROTO, SIEGENIA or CMECH. For sliding units, CMECH, HOPPE, HOPO or KINLONG. Single-hung units get American Caldwell handles. Multi-point locking is standard across the range.
Powder Coat, Anodize, Wood Grain
Powder coating, anodizing and wood-grain transfer on the exterior. Match a RAL or custom shade through the architectural color system. Interior faces stay mill finish, or take a wood-look film if you want one.

We're a factory, not a stocking dealer. No shelf inventory, no standard sizes. Send a drawing, a sample or a rough opening measurement, and we build to it. The finished unit comes in smaller than the rough opening, which gives you room for shimming and flashing. Minimum order is 2 square meters, so a single replacement window is possible, though most of our work is bulk orders for a project.
Lead time runs 25-30 business days depending on design, materials and order volume. We quote within 3 hours on average after receiving project details. Trade terms are EXW, FOB or CIF, and packing is wooden crate and wooden frame for sea freight. Sample orders are supported before a bulk purchase, which is the cheapest way to check our work before you commit to a container.
After the goods arrive, we send installation videos and written guidance, and our technical team stays reachable until the project is finished. Warranty depends on the specific product and contract terms. If you're comparing suppliers, ask each one for the certificate number behind any certification claim, and check the NFRC label against the series you're buying.

What is the disadvantage of aluminum windows?
Bare aluminum conducts heat. So an unbroken frame gets cold in winter and hot in summer. That is the real drawback. The fix is a thermal break, a polyamide strip that separates the interior and exterior faces of the profile. Every aluminum window we make uses that construction, and the glass package does the rest. Ask any supplier whether their frame is thermally broken before you compare prices.
How much should aluminum windows cost?
We don't publish prices because a window is priced from its drawing, not from a catalog. What drives cost: frame size, opening type, glass package, hardware brand, finish, and order volume. How long can an aluminum window last?
Aluminum doesn't rot, warp or feed insects, and the powder coat or anodized finish protects the extrusion from corrosion. With normal maintenance, a thermally broken aluminum window outlasts most of the building components around it. The parts that wear are the hardware and the seals, and those are replaceable. We don't quote a service life number because it depends on climate and use.
How much does an aluminum window cost compared to vinyl or clad wood?
Aluminum usually sits between vinyl and aluminum-clad wood on price, but the comparison isn't clean. A thermally broken aluminum frame with triple glass can cost more than a basic vinyl unit and less than a clad wood unit of the same size. Price the same opening in all three systems and compare the Uw, Rw and hardware, not just the unit price.
